No. It is untreated cold-rolled steel that will patina and change color naturally over time.

Can I use it for cooking?
Yes. You can cook with pots, pans, or griddles directly over the burners. For grilling, add the Over/Under Grill Thingy (sold separately).

How do I preserve or seal the patina?
To lock in a specific look, apply Rust-Oleum Clear High Heat Engine Enamel after use. Otherwise, let it rust and color naturally.
